The Chevrolet Impala is the car built by the Chevrolet division of the general motors. mitsubishi Motors Corporation is the sixth largest auto manufacturer in Japan and the seventeenth largest in the world.  Part of the mitsubishi keiretsu, formerly the biggest industrial group in Japan, it was formed in 1970. This company over the ages has had alliances with foreign partners and has hugely benefited because of the various alliances. It sold a significant part to Chrysler Corporation in 1971 which it held for 22 years. DaimlerChrysler was a controlling shareholder between 2000 and 2005. When it came to Europe the company co-owned the largest automobile manufacturing plant in the Netherlands with Volvo for ten years in the 1990s, before taking sole ownership in 2001. However it was only in 1982, that the Mitsubishi brand was first introduced to the American market. 70 dealers in 22 states across the United States sold The Tredia sedan, and the Cordia and Starion coupés. As many as 30,000 vehicles were sold between them.
